I'm still breathing... which is kinda hard to believe after doing calculus

AND... (wait for it) I PASSED MY DRIVING TEST!!!! YES!! DOUBLE YES!!! (hmm... they don't have a martini glass or beer bottle in xanga... use your imagination!)

lalala~ isn't life grand? and I'll be feeling this way until we go back to schoooool~ which is 4 days away~

anyway, i have decided to talk about something that our society (in my opinion) tries to hide. and here is the topic: sex

okay, so, what i don't understand is the definition of virgin. it's really screwed. i read an article in Seventeen and 79% of girls (in America) thought that even after engaging in oral sex, they still are considered virgins. why the hell is it called oral sex if it isn't sex??? of course, i don't believe our society has given a clear meaning on this topic, since it is as hush hush as saying 'god doesn't exist, get over it'. the only problem is that we don't know if god exist or not, but we do know that you can contact HIV and AIDS from oral sex. virgins are suppose to be pure and exempt from these nasty diseases, but 79% of women are still under the illusion that you can participate in lesser sex* and be considered a virgin. But of course, girls, we live in a 51% minority country. President Harper is probably too busy rubbing shoulders with Bush then funding in a better sex ed. program.

*my term for any type of sex that doesn't include traditional intercourse.

Time is Precious

Hey people~ i haven't been on much, so i'm just reminding everyone that just because i don't reveiw on every post doesn't mean i don't love you

god my head is inflated, isn't it? XD

well, everything's going fine i guess, but i hate applications. it's so annoying... and we don't get a workshop for it at school anytime soon either...

oh well, email me if you want to hear me ramble about yearbook (which sucks terribly) but if you don't, like most sane people, i'll write something thoughtful down.

Because humans are not Gods, though we thrive to be, we don't control time. so every second of every minute of every hour that one chooses to spend with another is a precious one. it is impossible to turn back time, and even more impossible to 'make' it. and daylight savings don't count. but it is these little moments that we forget the most, so i'll say this before i forget: Thank you for spending your time with me, even if it wasn't willingly

I have just noticed that I don't update much.

Well, other people might have noticed and told me, but they don't count. (I’m not saying you're unimportant, btw)

Anyway, this update is kind of boring, so leave a zzz or just go away or something, but I just wanted to get some feedback:

Oh, btw, it can be very insulting and it's extremely subjective. You have been warned. <--- that is no joke.

Why are people so weak? People depend on control to remain in control, to have a sense of power and ability. Just so their life would have value. People depend on guidance and when they become unable to receive it, they create role models from the animals and the earth around them. They use gods to control people because only the divine can determine the after life. And because people are terrified of death, religions become vast and unwavering. But as soon as two religions clash together, they fall apart, and tension and war pursues.

The reason that people would believe in religions is because they need to be told what to do. They need a guideline, something that can always be reached and untainted. Without a guideline, people become lost, and that sense of control is lost, causing insecurities and doubts.

Why hasn’t many people doubted the idea of god and religions and those that follow it so directly on paper before? Because it’s a major flaw, and flaws mean loss of control of the people around you, because it means you would get judged of being one who is very discriminating. So religion becomes a part of our daily lives, with no one to question it in fear of offending someone.

People strive for the affection, the need of company for the control. Friends and family becomes someone that a person could have power over, and with that, the sense of control is secured.

If you don’t believe me, try it. People need control. People need guidelines. Think about it, sleep on it. Maybe this was too random, maybe you hate me forever. But honestly, I think it’s the truth. And I probably broke a thousand rules of society by writing 246 words.
